The Pier Disappears

We've had some really high tides this year so far with some boats almost sitting on top of what should be a pier. These were taken in Lerwick at the Museum on a calm-ish day.

The video below shows the high tide in a gale in which the small boat, called the 'Lively' is in danger of being broken up on her slipway. The next day I discovered she had been removed from her stationary position of many, many years.
