Birds in my garden and animals outside my garden. As my mother used to say, "All this and Heaven too".
I try to take photos at water level when the sea is calm. This is from a beach in our village of Scalloway. It's great to be able to step off the road onto the beach. I think we're a bit spoilt here.
She's so friendly that bending down to photograph her is usually futile as she just wants to come to you. You have to wait a little while until she sees something more interesting than you. 😀
I've been feeding some adult hooded crows or, in Shetland Hoodie Craa, for quite a while and now they come and wait for the food quite close to the window. Today I wondered why it was extra noisy outside and found four young ones perched on the roof of the shed. One flew into my windowsill to get away from a seagull. Their faces made me laugh out loud.
Shetland bird names here.
I hope you like what I bring here from the Shetland Islands. It will not only be landscapes but other images I hope you will find enjoyable. Thank you!
