The beautiful Shetland Ponies bred at the local Berry Farm are sold all over the world. Hardy, sturdy and wonderful temperaments. This one was looking over the fence hoping I had a nice titbit. Sorry pony, just a pocket full of camera accessories.

Just starlings and sparrows in the garden so far this year. It doesn't matter because I love both these common species.
Purposely done here is the over-exposure of the first image and over-processing of the second. Boys were fishing for mackerel inshore from the pier. It was unusual for such large quantities of mackerel to come so close to the shore but it lasted for about a week or two and I'm sure there were quite a few fresh mackerel and tattie (potato) dinners enjoyed over that period. I took the image directly into the sun to give it an old postcard look.
The clouds over the Scalloway Castle were great but nothing wrong with a bit of enhancement. We've had some dramatic skies this year. |
