Sleep is essential for mind and body and after a cup of tea and the dunking of the digestives it was time for a rest. So for complete relaxation it was closed eyes and open laces.
My garden contains mature sycamore trees, planted around 1959. I love the budding stage of the leaves as the colours are quite beautiful. You would think that it was going to become a flower.
The flowering currant is in full bloom and looked almost fluorescent in the morning sun. The little sparrow seemed to enjoy the garden too.
Click images to enlarge. My daughter, Victoria, came for a wee visit which usually means a cup of tea and a couple of digestive biscuits to dunk. She was a willing subject to practice my portrait shots. This is a new genre for me and it's good to get started with someone I know really well.
