Hailstones In May

These last few days have brought sleet and hail showers. Not the May weather we were hoping for but the hail melts quickly with the sun despite the cold wind. I took my camera with me on a trip to the vet and stopped beside someone's quite large garden (by Shetland standards). By that time the sun was shining through the trees which have only half their leaves at the moment. To cheer things along I gave the images some vibrant colour. Made me feel warm just looking at them.
