Went into Lerwick to have my hair cut and to visit my brother. I took a detour via the Lerwick Flower Park. Not too good with flowers but I think this pink one is Pulsatilla. Feel free to correct me. A nice bed of tulips below.
If you love sheep as I do, clicking on the images to enlarge is worthwhile especially for the first one. She's a beauty.
For 'cool' read 'freezing'. Not clear of the hail and snow yet. I took a chance between showers to go for a walk and some snapping. Here's a little slideshow of the results.
These last few days have brought sleet and hail showers. Not the May weather we were hoping for but the hail melts quickly with the sun despite the cold wind. I took my camera with me on a trip to the vet and stopped beside someone's quite large garden (by Shetland standards). By that time the sun was shining through the trees which have only half their leaves at the moment. To cheer things along I gave the images some vibrant colour. Made me feel warm just looking at them.
Blackbirds love raisins as well as other foods. Today the crow stole the small birds food. To compensate the blackbirds I gave them a nice Lightroom preset made by myself. Looking at their faces I think they would rather have the raisins. Extra food for them tomorrow.
I hope you like what I bring here from the Shetland Islands. It will not only be landscapes but other images I hope you will find enjoyable. Thank you!
