One of Lerwick's lovely old lanes leading down to the main street called Commercial Street. Visitors love these quaint old lanes and many times are to be found wandering up and down taking photographs. Across the water you can just see part of the island of Bressay. Ferries run on an hourly basis from Lerwick to the island.

I asked permission from these folks to take their photo except for the French guy in the beret. He was too involved with his phone. From the top the nationalities are Australian, French, American (Maine) and English. Quite a range of nationalities. The Australian was quite amusing. When I asked him if I could photograph him he looked at me strangely and said in his Australian drawl.....WOYYYYY? So funny, but he agreed when I told him I was just practicing my people shots.
The Norwegian live fish carrier 'Oysund' coming in to Scalloway on a beautiful evening. A fairly new ship built in 2014.
