Yesterday, at one of the charity shops, I picked up a book called Diana F+. At the time of browsing I had no idea what the book was about except I really loved the photographs I saw inside so I purchased the book. I had a dental appointment to go to so took the chance to thumb through the book while I waited to be seen. The Diana F+ is a camera, the book informed me, and is a reproduction of the 1960's Diana lomography cameras. One of my first thoughts on seeing the images was.....I have to do something like this.....I love them so much.
So today, I put my camera on the 'Toy Camera' setting hoping it would resemble what I'd seen in the book. After shooting and post processing this is what I came up with. They'll do for the time being but now I'm hankering after a Diana F+ camera. This model was produced in China in 2007.

There's a photographer I follow who's style of photography is to do ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) generally of landscapes. I love them so thought I would go out today and see what I could do. Epic fail! I couldn't go home with nothing on my camera so I did my version of an ICM on a window in the Scalloway Castle. On my way back I saw the sun shining through a fish design iron fence with the shadows falling on the pavement. It's been photographed many times by many people but this looked a little different.
