My daughter, Victoria, and myself took a trip to Minn Beach in Burra today. We knew it was going to be cold.....the little snowflakes were a clue. But the sun was strong and raised the temperature a bit. When the sun shines on the sea at a certain angle it's one of my favourite photo opportunities. Here are a few of the sand and sea images I managed with gloves on. 😃

Zinanigans #1 and Zinanigans #2 have now been printed and distributed locally. These zines (small magazines) contain specially taken black and white photographs with the addition of text, poetry/prose.
Zinanigans #1 has 24 pages plus covers and Zinanigans #2 has 32 pages plus covers with 39 and 50 black and white photographs respectively. I loved producing these as I had been seeking to change my style of photography from the usual landscapes, seascapes, sunsets, etc. When I changed to black and white images I realised that any subject could be suitable for mono if composed properly. I trusted that the addition of text would enhance the zine. The following are the cover photos and some of the inner pages. Click on images to enlarge. These are for sale if you wish to make enquiries: [email protected] Or visit my Etsy shop at https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/ArtofOrdinary Or you may prefer eBay: Link |
